Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey make it 2 in a row and increases his points lead. Sam Manuel Yamaha's Josh Hill moves up one notch on the podium to get second. Hill's team James Stewart fighting a wrist injury sustained last week is able to hang on for third after getting the lead coming out of turn one. Stewart takes the early lead with Team Suzuki's Austin Stroupe close behind. Hill and Dungey are following closely in 3rd and 4th. Hill and Dungey make quick work of Stroupe and begin the stalking of Stewart. Knowing that Stewart is injured it looked like the two riders  took their time and looked for the right time. Hill makes his pass for lead on lap 6 with Dungey waiting until lap 12 to pass Stewart then on lap 14 takes the lead and never looks back.
